The Alaska Center for the Environment seeks to protect Alaska’s natural ecosystems and quality of life through grassroots activism and education. The grant supports the work of the Anchorage Citizens’ Coalition’s Smart Growth land use and transportation work to help communities in southern Alaska that are impacted by growth, air pollution, and poorly designed transportation systems.
