The National Audubon Society works to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife, for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity. The grant supports the work of the WA state office as it supports the state’s 26 Audubon chapters. Activities include work in forest conservation and management, wetlands protection and restoration, sustainable agriculture, salmon recovery, growth management and land use planning, capacity building, and environmental education.
