Description

The Committee for Idaho’s High Desert is dedicated to the conservation and sustainable management of the high desert ecosystem, and the preservation of biodiversity in the sagebrush steppe. The grant supports a project to evaluate, monitor, and document the degradation of streams, wetlands, and springs in Idaho’s arid high desert, to be used in resource damage litigation, site protection, and public education. $10,000 is awarded as a one-to-one challenge grant for individual donors.
